The Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees has killed plans to partner with a New York developer to build a satellite campus in Charlotte County. At least for now. In a special meeting Wednesday the board that governs the university unanimously voted to step back from the $70 million package trustees accepted less than a month ago.
