Chocolate poker chips - Cadbury faces prosecution over salmonella, newspaper reports

2/13/2007 - UK-based Cadbury Schweppes is set to be prosecuted under environmental health laws after the company allegedly released chocolate for sale that was contaminated with salmonella, according to the Guardian newspaper.
CADBURY last night recalled thousands more chocolate eggs. They said some batches were produced on a line also used for products containing nuts but were not given warning labels. It follows a similar recall on Saturday.
Whether or not production will begin this year at the Fulton Chocolate Plant remains up in the air. But one former employee has decided not to wait around. News 10 Now's Nneka Nwosu introduces us to a man who decided to get back in the chocolate business on his own.
